Amazon Review Checker: Spot Fake Reviews Before You Buy
Copy the reviews from the product page, paste them here, and see how much they can be trusted. The quick signals are counted in your browser and nothing leaves it. The AI check sends the review text to our server, five times a day at no cost.
Quick signals are counted in your browser. Only the AI check sends text, and only when you click.
The verdict appears here: a trust grade, the signals behind it with numbers, and the reviews that look suspicious. Nothing leaves your browser until you press the AI check.
How it works
- Copy the reviewsOn the Amazon product page, select the Top reviews block, or a page of See all reviews, and copy it with the stars and dates. Links do not work here: we never crawl Amazon.
- Paste and read the signalsPaste the text. The page splits it into reviews and counts the share of Verified Purchases, bursts of reviews within two weeks, short five-star reviews and phrases repeated across reviews. All of this runs in your browser.
- Run the AI checkOne click sends the review text to our server for a language check and returns a grade from A to F, the reasons behind it, and the reviews that look suspicious. Reviewer names are dropped before anything is sent.
What the grade is based on
The review analyzer looks at things you could count yourself with enough patience. How many reviews come from a Verified Purchase. Whether half of them landed in the same two weeks. How many five-star reviews are shorter than a sentence. Whether three different reviewers used the same four words in the same order. The AI check adds what counting cannot see: text that reads like a template, mentions of getting the product for a discount, a glowing review that does not match its own stars. Every line in the result names the signal and the number, so you can disagree with it.
Why there is no link field
Fakespot and ReviewMeta took a product link and fetched the page for you. Fakespot shut down on July 1, 2025, and ReviewMeta stopped answering in 2026. Fetching Amazon pages from a server goes against Amazon's conditions of use, and this site has no server that reads Amazon at all. So you bring the reviews here yourself, or you install the browser extension: it adds a Check button to the product page you already have open and reads only what you see, only when you click.
Questions
Can this prove that a review is fake?
No. It shows patterns that fake or paid reviews tend to share, with the numbers behind each one. A real product can have a burst of reviews after a TV mention, and a paid campaign can be spread out carefully. Treat the grade as a second opinion, then read the one-star reviews yourself.
Is it allowed to use this on Amazon?
You are reading a public page in your own browser and copying text from it, the same as reading it. We do not download pages, follow links, or open anything on your behalf. The site is not affiliated with Amazon and contains no affiliate links.
What happens to the text I paste?
The quick signals are counted on this page and the text stays in your browser. If you press the AI check, the review text, stars, dates and Verified marks go to our server, which passes them to a language model and discards them. Reviewer names are removed before sending. We keep a daily counter for the limit, not the reviews.
